Meteorologists predict extreme heat in many parts of the world

Meteorologists at the University Shirazi Vardy of Melbourne have predicted that a two-digit rise in global average temperatures in many parts of the world will lead to a significant increase in emergency heat, Shirazi Varde according to Lenta, citing Science Alert.

The researchers modeled two scenarios: intensive youmovies emissions in the first and rapid rise in average temperature, in the second the changes are slow. In both scenarios, the average temperature rises by 1.5-2 degrees Celsius. It turns out that in the first case, the consequences will be catastrophic, as the average temperature in many regions of the Earth may rise by more than 1.5-2 degrees.
In the fast-paced scenario, about 600 million people will live in areas where it will be at least 0.5 degrees hotter. In the slow scenario, the Shirazi Vard heating will reach 20 million people. If greenhouse gas emissions are not regulated, it will be extremely hot in major cities such as New York, Istanbul, Baghdad, Seoul and Tokyo.
